The City Show (TCS) is a podcast about how people are living and adapting to life in fast-changing cities across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. Each episode of TCS looks at a city or community in flux and includes nuanced conversations with locals – residents, experts, policymakers and activists. We find stories that are under-explored or overly sensationalised in the headlines and get to the nuances often missed by speaking to people with lived experience of the topic. Our quest has taken us as far afield as the suburb of Bo-Kaap in Cape Town, Camino Verde in Tijuana, Lagos’ Marina District, the city of Riyadh and Rio de Janeiro to Mumbai, Beirut and other urban centres throughout the world. TCS is produced by Freddie Bosworth in collaboration with CS.
